Justin played on the Braves this year for his first spring kid pitch season. Jason was one of the assistant coaches either doing first base or third base.
He made his spring pitching debut on May 23rd pitching the first and second innings.
He had at least six strikeouts and walked a few but hardly anyone hit.
We played the undefeated Rangers and were ahead most of the time until the end where they got one more run to beat us.
But quite impressive that it was only a one-run game! One of his teammates Easton got an infield home run which was exciting!
He pitched again against the Reds on June 1. We lost by one point again but it was a great game!
He had at least four strikeouts and plays at first as the baseman.
Unfortunately he's been really timid with hitting and didn't even swing very much at every game.
So many strikeouts for him but throughout the season he did get a couple walks and got to home plate eventually!
