Christmas!

Opening presents from GG and Grandad on the evening of Dec. 23rd, which were cat bed sheets for Hallie and a Crawdads jersey for Justin. They both got pillows (which I always heard were called "husbands.")

They got Legos from Chris, Lesley, and family and were extremely excited!

Hallie's was an underwater Friends set and Justin got a boat!

Sibling sleepover with new sheets!

Dec. 24th lunch at Nana and Papas! They got bean bag chairs, fun nerf guns,
Beyblades battle stadium, corn holdrr set, Baby Yoda, Barbies (and a little pool) and a T-shirt dye set

Dec 24th Christmas Eve dinner at Grandma and Grandpas.
They loved these little remote control bumper cars Mike & Becca got!

Becca and Mike also got crazy lips for everyone!

We spent the night with PawPaw and Karen, putting out the milk & cookies!

The kids had already invaded their stocking before we could get
pics, but were very excited about their watches from Santa!

Pics with Pawpaw & Karen!

Later opening presents is always is a blur!

Lots of clothes and jackets!

Various art work

 Hallie

She drew about playing with our neighbor Emma

Justin

Notice he didn't put a favorite food...

Various Christmas Activities!

The church didn't have their Christmas party this year,
but offered the Gingerbread houses to be made at home...
The people are Gary and Linda....

The kids have been so excited to have Elliott and Marshall back.
They've been everywhere in the den, including the tree and on top of the
doors & fridge, probably avoided Sawyer!

Here are some letters they wrote to the Elves.

Pawpaw and Karen's church had a Nativity Escape room
we did on Dec. 13th.  They got to see Santa before that!

They did various codes we had to figure out, which was
a bit frustrating, but that was the point.....life can be frustrating and
hard to figure things out sometimes.

After doing the codes, which were about prophesies of Jesus and connections
with the Old Testament, we got the number code for a box that had some
keys in it, to represent how Jesus is our key to heaven.

Before that, we had some fun playing outside!

On Dec. 21st, the "Great Conjunction" happened
where Jupiter and Saturn were the closest they had
       been in 800 years!

This isn't a picture I took, but it close to what we
could see (especially with binoculars) from the Pepsi plant not far away.

These are pictures Karen took down at their place!

On Dec. 22nd, mom and I took the kids to
the Beech mountain sledding hills!

On Dec. 23rd, we used cookie dough from Aunt Deda
to make some cookies for our neighbors (and ourselves).
Later that evening we went to see Lew's Lights.

Pictures with the Grandpa's Red Truck!

We were very pleased with the pictures we got of the Holcomb side on
December 5th!
