More Summer Fun!

This is how the Holcombs play hide and seek! They love when daddy
"scares them!"  He is starting to count!

Justin being a good brother!

He is talking so much now! He's saying sentences.

His favorites are "Stop it" and
"I don't want it!"

We took Hallie bowling!

She got in the water at PawPaw and Karen's!

She can kick her legs on the noddles!  I hope next
summer she'll be swimming!

Justin didn't like the water so much.....
we think he was saying "No video!"

We went to Price Park with mom and dad one Saturday.

She loved walking in the creek water!

He liked throwing rocks!

Arlo and Nolan visited Deda one week and we went
to Lake Hickory beach area one night!

He wanted to wear a headband like Hallie!

Nana got her a clothes rack for the school days
of the week!

We went to the Nature Center in Asheville
and enjoyed seeing the animals!

Otters!

They had this cute slide near the otters!

It's hard to see the black bear!

Bobcats/mountain lion!

We've had three weeks in August with no daycare since she moved
so one day when I was with them he fell asleep in Hallie's lap.

Then she wanted to have him lie on a pillow!

We've gone to lots of parks during the no daycare weeks and
she did the Monkey bars!

Her birthday present from us was I took her to Bisque-n-Beads
and she painted a Hello Kitty jewelry case and also made a necklace,
which she's wearing in the shopping cart picture!

We'll get the case back this week since they fire it to make it seal!

Food Lion now has "Customer in Training" carts, so
she took a crew of animals to shop with us!

They both are loving legos!  He is usually more
focused but was distracted by the camera!

The saddest thing in the last month has been Mary passed
away on July 15th.  Mom and Dad had her over for dinner with us
on Monday nights, so we miss her!

She loved the kids and called Justin a "precious boy"
all the time!

Here's pic from Hallie's birthday last year!
