Fair!

 The kids, mom, me, and this year Jason went to the fair on Thursday August 31!

Mom and Hallie rode the Tornado ride!

After some convincing, Justin rode on the Mixer which was like the Scrambler ride.

I bought some tickets and went on with Hallie as well!

I also went on the Rocket ride with her!

It was a lot more fun than I expected but alittle bit uncomfortable!

Justin ended up doing the bumper cars like 10 times! He did lots by himself!

Hallie & Der's bday party!

 We celebrated Hallie and Der's birthdays at Karen's pool on August 20th!

Cherry Grove Beach!

Mom, the kids and I went to Cherry Grove Beach August 12-17.

We stayed on the second row from the beach so it was different to be able to walk to it!

 

The Black Pearl mini golf was nearby and we went on a Sunday afternoon.

It was incredibly hot but we had ice cream afterwards and then did the arcade.

 I didn't realize how many points we were buying with the $75, then a lady gave us $500 Point she had left over.

 We went back on Monday afternoon to finish out the points on our card. Hallie got 500 points on one of the games and Justin really enjoyed this bowling game.

We took the kids to the Hawaiian Rumble mini golf on Tuesday morning after eating breakfast out at the Golden Griddle restaurant.

 I thought the kids would like it more but they were a bit freaked out when the volcano rumbled!

More beach!

Around 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning the condos fire alarm went off. The kids handled it really well and since we were on the end of the building, it was the loudest. I felt reminded of my college year days. The fire department came and nothing was wrong!

Melissa's night out!

 At the end of July, I had a mom's night out with some friends and we rode Rachel's boat to a restaurant on the lake!
