Just some thoughts!

I just wanted to write down some more things that I had forgotten to in the last post!

Justin is quite the talker!  He will do this "happy scream" like he's just trying to see how loud he can do his voice!  He still loves blowing raspberries!  He doesn't seem too into food yet...he gives us weird looks when we've fed him carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash, like he's thinking "What in the world are you giving to me?"

He loves to play with cups! We just noticed a few days ago that we can see the two bottom teeth!  He's been chewing away lately!

I've given up on putting him in the crib, since I've had to have my sleep with work being so crazy!  He's a side and back sleeper and stays still like me. I figured that years for now, I'm not going to regret co-sleeping and the cute times he's grabbed my nose and smiled at me in the middle of the night.  But I do miss my own bed terribly, as the one in his room is a bit hard on the back!

He loves to be on the floor (on his back) and grabs his feet!  He can pull off his socks and tries to eat his toes!  He can sit up quite well now!

Hallie is on and off as usual, sometimes so sweet and other times so sour!  She does do this sweet thing where she randomly will just say, "Mama, I love you!" which is quite humbling when I think she's going to say something annoying to me instead.....

We've been watching videos from when she was a baby, which she loves!  She'll say things like, "When I was a baby...." and then something that doesn't make much sense, then she laughs!

Will post more pics soon!

Halloween and More!

Hallie was a witch and Justin as Olaf, in a handmade onesie! Mom, the kids, and I actually spent Halloween in Jackson with Chris and family, but I've lost my pics!  Hallie and Isaiah had a blast trick or treating (or pick or treat, as Hallie said)  The pictures here are from the 29th, before going to trunk or treat!

Justin has been sticking his tougue out a lot lately!  He's been talking alot too, it sounds like he says hi and hey!

He laughs a lot too, especially at Hallie!  A video is below of them this morning!

I hope they'll continue to be best buddies!  Hallie sometimes says he's her best friend!

Hallie played today in the leaves!

Fall Fun

Fall seems to be flying by!  Justin is not a fan of tummy time too much (see below), but is starting to roll over from belly to back and even can sit up on his own a bit now!  He makes the cutest noises and I think many times, is talking back to Hallie!  There was one morning he seemed to repeat the noises she made!

He is now 15.6 pounds and 26 1/2 inches long!

Jason and Hallie painting some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch! Such concentration!

I finally got a good picture in this shirts that Chris and Lesley got when Justin was born!

Hallie is "Big Sis Hallie" and Just is "Little Bro Justin"!

He really loves his bumbo seat and it starting to grab for everything around him! Watch out cups and food!  Speaking of food, we've started to give him some rice cereal, but he hasn't taken to it in the same way Hallie did. We tried carrots and he wasn't so thrilled with them either.  Maybe a few more weeks and he'll be eating up a storm!

Our Sunday School had a pumpkin carving party with this cute game where you throw a plastic spider on the web!

And the finished pumpkin!

Hallie likes to take photos with the camera....

My parents next door neighbor got them matching pumpkin shirts!

Hallie is still loving being a big sister, but still loves to test us as much as possible!  She is going to be a very strong willed, independent girl who makes her own decisions in her own time and way.  As much as I want to be thankful for that, it can really be frustrating sometimes when she doesn't listen.

Hallie's 4th birthday and more!

We celebrated Hallie's birthday at our house on August 31st!  Nana made her a Sofia castle cake!

Aida, Athrun, and Hallie enjoyed the playground!

They also assisted Hallie in opening her presents!

Singing Happy Birthday!

Oh, where to begin!  Justin keeps growing and is starting to squeal more!  He has discovered his voice!  Hallie still loves on him most of the time!  He isn't sleeping through the night, but is usually good about going back to sleep quickly (yes, I am thankful he sucks his thumb!) Sometimes, he does want to chat in the middle of the night and I try not to get too annoyed with it!  This won't last forever!

He's started to laugh/chuckle more and seems to do it the most with Hallie!

He doesn't seem to hate baths like Hallie did so maybe I'll have a water baby afterall!

He's discovered his feet recently and loves to hold them or try to put them in his mouth!

We're trying to do more tummy time!  He cries sometimes, but if we find the right entertainment, it distracts him!   He tries to pull himself up when he's on his back, so he's getting stronger!

We got the jumperoo down that we used when Hallie was a baby.  His feet almost touch the floor! He seems to like it!

Sweet baby boy!

Family of Four!

We had some pictures done this past weekend with Linda, Gary, and the Saakes!  It had its frustrations, but we did get our first family photo of the four of us, including band aids, flip flops, and baby drool!

Hallie really liked the boa!

These are from July.  Justin really likes his bumbo seat and is becoming more interested in things, like books and toys!  He's still talking a lot!

Thumb sucker like mommy!

At Abel's first birthday party!

Playing bat n balling!  Lately, it seems she only wants to wear dresses!

Little monster!

Justin keeps growing and Hallie keeps getting smarter!  She knows the names of our co-workers now and will ask if we worked with them today. She started to make up songs to sing and likes to watch Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood the most, it seems.  She's still as stubborn as ever!

Justin really is looking around more and is holding soft books and trying to turn the pages! He loves when I sing to him too!

Well, off to work again!
