Justin's 6th bday and a different Easter

Throwing ball with Daddy on April 4th!

Hallie bike riding

We went down to Pawpaw and Karen's on April 4th and
they gave Justin his birthday present....he loves it!

Hallie on their new driveway area

My mom had this for Palm Sunday- the kids did their hand prints and then
put monkey grass on them

We really didn't wash the cars like this!

They have enjoyed dancing to the radio with my old childhood
jam box! This was at bedtime....aka 8:30ish!

Jason was gone this past week since PawPaw had surgery
for his brain tumor so we had Family sleepovers
and this is what it looked like every morning...

Justin's 6th birthday cake made by my coworker Lynn!

I showed him the cake the day before his birthday.

GG and Grandad came over on his birthday for Salsaritas dinner!
It was also Good Friday!

Earlier that day they dyed Easter Eggs with GG on Justin's b-day (I worked half a day)

Had an egg hunt!

Throwback pic!

I was really proud of Hallie for doing this!
Our church had asked for videos saying "Christ is Risen" for Easter
and Hallie did it, but said her own thing and it was really cute!

For Easter, we watched the online service, ate lasagna with GG and Grandad,
watched Trolls World Tour (for the 3rd time since we had to rent it for 48 hours only), and
Justin and Hallie did a puppet show in the dark with stuffed animals.

They enjoyed peeps and chocolate from Aunt Anne!

Homeschooling Activities and news about PawPaw

They did some makeup and Hallie did Justin's hair on Saturday, March 28th!

They also had water fights!

GG has been homeschooling them and both teachers are starting to do ZOOM classes,                    which has been fun since they can see their friends!

Hallie created this book about Things that are in Summer!

GG has been very creative with their activities!

They created two dimensional and three dimensional shapes with
toothpicks and marshmallows.

Throwing baseball with Grandad on April 2nd.

We've had some sad news about PawPaw. He has a brain tumor and symptoms just showed up on March 23rd.  It's affecting his speech and motor skills a bit.  We went down their on Monday afternoon (March 30th) for a visit before the "Stay-at-Home" order for NC due to the Coronaviris kicked in.  He's having surgery at Duke on Monday, April 6th.
