 Hallie and Jason helped with  a Grandview beautification day on Saturday 4/20.

Justin turns 10!

Now that tax season is over, I can catch up! 

Justin wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse on his birthday.

We did family birthdays on Saturday April 13th eating lunch at Shiki,, then going to Lee and Der's house.

Easter!

We spent Friday Match 29th with Karen and Miranda. We ate dinner at Village Inn, then they did rollerskating.

Saturday morning we spent at Fairview church, eating breakfast before the egg hunt. Hallie helped Charlotte who wasn't very interested and Justin helped Sydney.

Then we went to Nana and Papa's for lunch, having an Easter egg hunt including 40 eggs with $5 in them. Then we played some kickball and had a relay race holding an egg on the spoon, which Melissa and Der won!

Sunday we went to church and enjoyed being at home, but did watch the Braves game at Mom and dad's. 

Yeah Jesus came back for us!

 

Art and Beta Club

Hallie had some of her school art displayed at a small gallery downtown.

Many of her friends like Leah, Lucy, Sunny, and Irys did as well!

She has joined the Beta club along with many of her friends. They had a ceremony. It's not a good pic but she is beside her friend Sunny.

Soccer has started and Justin is doing baseball practice...spring is here!

 

Hallie's Black History Project

 The 7th grade did a living wax museum for a black history month project on 2/28.

They were supposed to be their person and answer questions when asked. She practiced a bit the night before with us!

I was quite impressed that about all the kids I spoke with were very engaging!

She chose Mary Jackson the first black female engineer at NASA!

Basketball

Justin played moving up to the 10U league.

He got 2 points in 3 games and took more shots than he ever has!

 

Rollerskating in January break!

 I am behind with posting but Mom was able to take the kids to Skateland during their break the first week of January. 

With Christmas money they both got rollerblades it's Justin's first pair and they light up!

They also went to the Biltmore house which they love!
