They made these little pumpkins in class!

We weren't sure with the stormy weather predicted if we would be able to go out on Halloween but it ended up being okay! It  rained a little bit but it was all right and we enjoyed going to 6th Street with Otto, Bennett and Mabel..

On Friday November 1st mom, Hallie and I went to the observatory in Maiden.

Of course no pictures could be taken but we did get to see Jupiter and four of its moons, Saturn (and we could see its rings), and the moon (which was a crescent so they explained that was good because of the shadowing we could see the craters better)!

We got to see double stars (one type was a blue star and an orange star), star clusters, and a star nova, which is like the dust of gas that an exploded star leaves.  Here's some examples!
