Hallie is 9!

Hallie wanted to have a birthday party on her birthday Sunday September 1st. It was a lovely day and party with family and neighbors!

Linda had called us the night before saying they wanted to buy her roller skates so they came early and took her shopping- we didn't tell her until they came and she was so excited. She kept them on basically the whole party!

And now it's Monday and she still wants to skate! 

This is what Jason in Justin have been doing lots in last few months! Justin really enjoys pitching and catching!

First week of school and Fair ride videos

We went to the Hickory Fair on a Wednesday night! The kids ended up riding some rides they hadn't done before!

He did like the ride despite the face!

We went to the back to the fair on Friday evening to watch the shows and they had a diving show where this guy drove 84 ft into the water..... 

 The kids really liked it!

Playing in the rain and Skateland!

Hallie, Justin and Miranda playing in the rain! They spent two nights with her, Pawpaw, and Karen!

We went back to Skateland tonight for the third time and she actually skated whole laps  without holding onto the rails! She's gotten a lot better in a short time! Thanks to Mom for taking the videos!

Hallie said she looks like she's dabbing in this video....Jason and I think she looks like she has Tourettes syndrome...yes we know that's bad to say!

More Summer Camp, Rollerskating, & Beach Trip

Superheroes week at camp (July 29th)

The field trip this week was Skateland and it was the first time Hallie ever roller skated!

She ended up liking it so she and I went to Skateland on Thursday evening for family night! We had a blast....she ended up skating better by the end of the night. She never fell and was very determined to try to skate without holding onto the rails!

While we were skating Jason and Justin went to the mall and also slipped over to Krispy Kreme then took these selfies!

We went to Lee and Der's house on a Sunday afternoon...they loved playing with Sydney!

Beach trip August 8th through August 13th. 

We had a blast- the kids really loved both the ocean and the pool.

We went to Pawley Island Tavern,

which was covered with $1 bills that you put your name or some sort of momento on so we did ours!

Near the restaurant was an ice cream place where you could also feed ducks, turtles and fish! We actually went there twice!

We ate at the Pawleys Isalnd Raw bar the last night which had a playground aka "jail"

Last day and we went back in the evening!

Most of the evenings we spent time at the pool... it was very nice!

Unfortunately, dad and Jason got into a wreck on the way down and at home, a tree branch fell on the power line and the neighborhood was out of power for 8 hours!

Saturday July 13th we went to Riverbend park to hike and fish... it was so hot that we didn't last too long to fishing so Jason stayed and fished!

CHallie did the Conrad chase at the Crawdads game we went to on July 15th!

We went to the Trents pool on Friday the 19th

and Justin had a snorkle mask that he 

actually did!

Hallie has learned to do flips and handstands!

We went to Huntersville for dinner for Uncle Mike's birthday and ended up going to this place called Frankie's that was a bit of an amusement park!

Friday, July 26th to play with Ellie. They had a small water slide and bounce house.

 the whole afternoon with her!
