Finishing out the summer and Hallie starting Pre-School!

Hallie started preschool at Viewmont on the 24th!  It was a rough transition: she didn't want her photo made, she answered the question, "Are you excited to be at school today?" as No (the only one with that answer) and screamed/cried when I left....

Today was much better and she let me take her picture! She says she likes her school now!

She wanted me to take a video too!

Finally got a good family pic for 2015!

Justin found a new use for a washcloth.
The jury is still out if he's going to be nuttier than his sister.

Justin pushing Hallie down the slide at McDonalds!

Hallie said he looked like a grandma and Jason said Elton John!

He loves sunglasses!

We took a plastic lego table and put water "in" it and the kids loved it!

At the Shoppes on the Parkway

Riding big wheel bikes!  We do this almost every night!

Not only does he like PB, he likes Ketup!

While Jason was in Montana, we went to Hickory Dickery Dock,
where he loves to climb!

Hallie getting her hair cut by Nana!

Justin's little people look alike!

Feet in the water at Nana's and Papa's!

We call this "Baby Bungee"!
Hopefully, this is the only time he'll do anything like bungee jumping!

Fun in July!

We took Hallie bowling to Pin Station on Friday, 17th and she beat me by 4 points!
Jason won her a Frog from the claw game!
Bowling pics below are from Uncle Mike's birthday bowling in Mooresville! She did well!

She is now 37lbs and 44.75 inches
(36th percentile for weight and about 90%ish percentile for height)

She's been saying "I love you" a lot, starting to love back rides, and gives "running hugs" meaning she runs to us and we pick her up to hug her!

Justin loves the shades!  He is now 29.75 inches and 18.7lbs!
(3rd percentile for weight and 14th percentile for height)

Video of him doing sunglasses too!

Him laughing at her splashing in the puddles!  He laughs at the most random things!

Picture from daycare!

Justin loves to go "boom" on the bed!

Crawling! We call him a baby gorilla!

Crawling over sissy!

He loves to crawl over things, especially the boppy pillow!

He loves to crawl into the sunroom and is "sliding" in this video!

We got to see Arlo and played with him at the park!

Recap of June and 4th of July weekend!

Daycare was closed 2 weeks in June, so between us and grandparents, we had it covered and hopefully everyone had good times with the kids!

Here's some photos Karen took when they took care of them!

We've taken Hallie twice to Home Depots craft on the first Saturday of the month! She loves it! She made a car in June and in July, made a scooter!

She's pushing Jason's hand away because she wanted to do herself!

One week was our church's VBS, so I was the leader for Hallie's group. That had it's ups and downs, but Hallie still sings some of the songs we learned!  (though she never lets me stand up and sing in church....always have to sit down.)

We had a service Sunday where we went out into the community.  Our Sunday School went to the Pregnancy Care Center and I was happy that Hallie decided to come with us! We hanged baby clothes!

Justin is crawling up a storm! He's standing better on his feet, so I know one day, the walking/running will begin!  He loves to open/close things and bang things together!

He likes to go "boom" on the bed!

Going into the sunroom! He loves to climb over things!

He also loves peanut butter!

We've enjoyed being outside, though some days, it was way too hot!  Hallie has started kicking a ball in our yard, so maybe she'll be a soccer player?? I could be a soccer mom!

I'm glad at work that we're having "summer hours" so we come into work at 8:00 each day, then on Friday, don't have a lunch hour and get off at 1:00.   It's been nice to have some extra time with the family and I'm planning on taking off some Fridays as well.  Figured I need to take advantage of it with the busy time with work a-coming!

We had a nice long 4th of July weekend, going to Hickory-Dickory-Dock.  Justin loved climbing on the soft play mats and Hallie even played a few games!  We tried to teach her the Skeet Ball, and she got some points a few times!

We went to Dean/Karen's pool on the 4th, but Hallie didn't get in, but Justin seemed to enjoy it and watching others swim! He was very interested in observing swimming!

These pictures aren't from the 4th but earlier in June!

Water Baby and Outside Play!

We may have a water baby! Justin has started really splashing in his bath!  We've even let him and Hallie bathe together too!

Last month, Justin was 17.2 lbs and 30 inches long! He's a bit on the small side (1% percentile) of weight, but the doctor said not to worry!

We discovered that he LOVES Ritz crackers!  And turkey deli meat!  He definitely knows what he's eating now and will shake his head no when it's something he doesn't want!  He still only has 6 teeth, so we're ready for the others to come in so no more baby food!

He sometimes will let the milk come out of his mouth, as below!

Their having some sort of conversation here....

This mother's day we went to the Biltmore House! I forgot my camera, but Hallie did really well, not complaining much at all when we went through the house. She really liked the fish in the Italian Garden and petted a baby goat at the farm in Antlerhill. She even stomped some grapes at the winery!

Hallie's back to wearing dresses since it's warmer! She loves riding the big wheel still.
Justin loves throwing balls!

She loves to stroll Justin too!

He is starting to sort of crawl, but it's more like a crawl/scoot.  He can move pretty far though!

We had a nice time with Chris, Lesley, Isaiah, and Leah coming over Memorial Day weekend. He's reading to the girls below!

Leah with an Elsa doll!

Counting together before sliding at the park!  We enjoyed feeding the ducks there as well!

Playing in the creek in the park!

Justin must have some teeth still trying to come through!  I think that they hurt him a bit...:(
