Some more things!

 

Justin loves to throw balls!  He's pretty good too! He also loves to be strolled.

 

Lately, he's been very interested in light switches, doors opening/closing.

 

Hallie loves her big wheel!

Water Baby and Outside Play!

We may have a water baby! Justin has started really splashing in his bath!  We've even let him and Hallie bathe together too!

 

 

Last month, Justin was 17.2 lbs and 30 inches long! He's a bit on the small side (1% percentile) of weight, but the doctor said not to worry!

We discovered that he LOVES Ritz crackers!  And turkey deli meat!  He definitely knows what he's eating now and will shake his head no when it's something he doesn't want!  He still only has 6 teeth, so we're ready for the others to come in so no more baby food!

He sometimes will let the milk come out of his mouth, as below!

This mother's day we went to the Biltmore House! I forgot my camera, but Hallie did really well, not complaining much at all when we went through the house. She really liked the fish in the Italian Garden and petted a baby goat at the farm in Antlerhill. She even stomped some grapes at the winery!

Hallie's back to wearing dresses since it's warmer! She loves riding the big wheel still.

He is starting to sort of crawl, but it's more like a crawl/scoot.  He can move pretty far though!

 

We had a nice time with Chris, Lesley, Isaiah, and Leah coming over Memorial Day weekend. He's reading to the girls below!

Over the Easter weekend, we got together at Deda's house for an Easter Egg hunt

with Arlo and Nolan!

 

 

 

We've been playing outside tons and Justin still loves to swing!

Here are the teeth!  He does bite now!  He's been talking more too, saying "Mama" and "Baba" more.  I still haven't heard him say Hallie or Sissy yet, but he certainly does love her!  Though, he's getting to where we know when he needs his space and he notices when she takes things away now!

Snow and Justin Baptism

Justin has been very mommy attached lately!

For the first snow/ice day on Feb. 17th, Hallie and I made mini muffins! She's been saying lately she's the chef!  Then real snow came on the 26th and I was home with them, but we didn't go out in it. I had hoped she might sled a bit with Jason, but she didn't want to.

 



 

She's shoveling snow....no gloves, no hat.

 

Justin is starting to get his 4 top teeth!  He looks like a little vampire because the ones on the side are coming down before the top middle ones!

 

He isn't crawling yet, but he's starting to move around in a circle on the floor and is reaching for toys now!  He's getting close to the crawl position, but still does not like it when you put him on his belly, so we'll see if he crawls or just starts to walk one day!

 

He loves to sit on the floor and play with his toys!  He's got quite the arm, so he may be a future pitcher (just like both his uncles- Lee and Chris!)

 

Justin is definitely eating better and feels heavier! 

 

We had him baptized on March 1st!  He didn't even cry, which really surprised me!  He seems fascinated with the church, I think because of all the stained glass windows/colors!

Jason's birthday and more!

 We started off the new year with Hallie getting a hair cut and giving Justin more ice cream! He's a Holcomb, he loves chocolate!

 

We had went to a birthday party at the bowling alley.

Hallie actually loved bowling and got 9 pins down twice (of course the bumpers were up!)

 

 

My coworker had said she gave her teething babies frozen waffles so we gave him one!

He made a mess, but I think he liked it!

 

He has been eating lots better!

He likes saltines and Cheez-its as well. He still only has the two bottom teeth,

 but can tackle both of these well!

 



 

January 16 to 18, mom and dad kept Isaiah and Leah while their parents were at a retreat.

 

We went to the Science Center and enjoyed hanging out!

Justin is sleeping a bit better at night!  He wakes up, cries for just a bit, then has been going back to sleep.  It's been nice, but he still doesn't sleep well in the crib (he just loves me apparently!)

 

He's been saying more "DaDa" and "MaMa" lately.

He definitely loves to be held and really recognizes us!

 

We had a nice day on MLK day; Jason was off and since my afternoon appointment cancelled that morning, I decided to take off! It was a beautiful day and Hallie played on her playground and I got to rock Justin a bit when he got tired!  They both had their mood swings,

but overall, a nice family afternoon!
