Almost Spring!!!

 

Here's me and "Goober" at 34 weeks! And I guess Lilac crashed the pic too!   (This was last week technically; I haven't gotten to doing a pic for this week!) 

 

Hallie has been telling me lately that Goober is so precious and that she's going to hold and rock him!  She loves to touch my belly now and will kiss it sometimes too (I'll try to get a pic of that for the 35 week photo!)

 

She got into painting one evening!   She loves to draw the letter "H" too!

When Hallie was a baby, I said that she was a night owl, which has proven to be true with 9:00 being normal bedtime!  Sometimes, this is what she does in the morning when I turn the light on to try and wake her up!  Not a morning person!

 



We are so glad for the time change and are awesome playground!  Hallie has refused to go down the slide until about a week ago! She loves to hold hands with Daddy and slide, or go on his lap!

 



She also really loves to swing and always says to go higher!

 



 

I just want to point out that the evening I took these pictures, it was like mid 60's and she didn't want a coat or to put on shoes....

 

Still loving the sandbox too!



Short and Sweet!

               Here's the little lefty coloring below and with a bow in her hair one day as well!

                            We got to spend time with Dean, Karen, Lee, Grandma, and Grandpa!

                        I lost the argument this morning that this outfit didn't match....apparently, it does.

Christmas and New Year's!

So much has happened, both good and bad, in going through the Christmas holidays and start of the New Year!  Our camera broke around August, so I don't have any Christmas pics to post.  We've moved Hallie to her "new" bedroom and painted it purple!  She loves the elephant stuffed animal that Mike and Becca gave her awhile back ago...she used to be afraid of it!

She also enjoyed the reindeer headband from Nana and Papa!  She learned and sings really well Rudolph and Frosty.  She also  knows You are My Sunshine!  Apparently, we've just discovered she likes Bluegrass music!  We listen to I tunes Radio through our Apple TV and did a bluegrass station and this morning, she told me she wanted to listen to the Blue Music.  I didn't know what she meant until she pointed to the Bluegrass station icon on the TV!

She really enjoys coloring and is using her left hand! She also is "reading" books and has 90% of the Hungry Caterpillar book memorized!  I have a video of it, but blog is being fussy to post here!  I've got it on facebook!

Now that we have a camera, I'll be able to post more pics soon! :)

 

 

Let's Hear it for the Boy!

 

                               

Here are ultrasound pics from today.....it's a boy! ETA- April 25th, 2014 (a week after my 35th birthday).      Lately, things have been so crazy with lots of evening sickness so I haven't been on the computer at night much.   Hallie's still as stubborn as ever, but loads of fun too!   She's been saying lately, "my daddy is my best friend," and quick to point out that I'm not her best friend... She's gotten into coloring (still favoring the left hand).  We're excited to have a playground in the backyard thanks for Papa, but with the time change and weather getting colder, haven't been able to play too much lately....but that will change come Spring......

Text for Fall Fun!

Again, blog alittle fussy, so here's the text for the pictures below!  Hallie loves to wear sunglasses and likes to put them on top of her head like I do.  She's wearing mine in the picture.   She started to really like her little pool at the end of the summer- of course.  She talks about wanting to swim in the big pool next summer, so we'll see!  We went to Oktoberfest this past weekend and to our delight, she rode on some rides and had a great time! Plus, she got her face painted- had to have both cheeks done as well as something on her forehead (a heart).  Later, we went to a farm that had some baby animals she petted and a wagon ride that she really enjoyed!  Her favorite movies lately have been Tinkerbell and Rio.  She's still as stubborn as ever and we've had a few coming to Jesus meetings....but she's set in her ways!  Hopefully, one day Jason and I will be thankful for her strong willed nature, but right now, it's hard dealing with her arguing with us and telling us no a lot.  Oh well!  Most of the time she's good, but when she's not it's just to the extreme.....

Text for Birthday, Beach, and Beyond!

Here is some text to go with the pics below!  The blog website is being fussy again! 

We got to go to the beach for a weekend  in August.  Still not digging the water, but did enjoy the sand! She has at least gotten into her little pool at Dean and Karen's!   The pic of her in the truck is Grandpa's old Ford truck!  She still loves to play in cars!  I think she'd rather do that than anything!  Just had her birthday party which was fun!  She got lots of Tinkerbell stuff and some cute tea cup sets that she's already playing with!  Lately, she's also been into Alvin and the Chipmunks movies too!  Can't think of much else at the moment so hope you enjoy the pics!
