Christmas!

Gingerbread houses at church

Mom Deda, Ellie, the kids and I went on Monday., the 22nd to Asheville, to see the gingerbread houses.

But so many had the same idea that they couldn't  or wouldn't let others in.

Instead, we went to Trader Joe's, Mast store, and the mall before heading home. I was thankful the kids seem to always go with the flow and weren't disappointed.

We stayed at Karen's on the 23rd.
These houses didn't work out

No pics at Linda and Gary's.

At GG and Grandad.

Halloween & Thanksgiving (yes it's late!)

We took Justin's friend Korbyn to an LR football game.

 Halloween on 6th street.
Justin had Grandview basketball tryouts that evening. We were proud he did it even though he didn't make the team.

Mckenzie's wedding.

Deda took her grandkids and Hallie to Bitmore
the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Theo...

Thanksgiving at Deda's.
The kids went on a long walk by themselves.

Hallie's birthday, Carowinds, and New Kitten

This is going backwards, but we celebrated Hallie's 15th birthday at Karen's pool!

We went to Carowinds in August with the Ross'.
Hallie rode this that goes upside down like a stunt plane!

And we have 5 cats now! This kitten was in the driveway across the street on Sunday evening in early August.   Hallie walked to him and he started rubbing and acting friendly, so we took him in.
He had fleas but Hallie and Justin worked hard that week to remove them.
We named him Theo after the Chipmunks...but he's more like Alvin.

Pawleys Island!

We got back to Pawleys Island!

We went to Jania's birthday party on July 26th so we got there late evening that Saturday night.

From then until Tuesday evening, it was just the four of us!  Mom and dad came that night, then on Friday, Linda and Gary came with Sydney and Charlotte.  The kids stayed that weekend so they could spend the next week with them.

They bought them some beach towels- Tarheels for Hallie and Braves for Justin!

We made it back to the ice cream place (twice) and to Pawley's Raw bar.

High tide was in the morning at the beginning, so the kids loved the rough waves!

Tuesday morning, we went to putt putt at Jurassic Golf, where all of us got a hole in one at least one time!  It had a fake dinosaur that moved.

Then we went to the Riley's Aquarium (which was good but I thought would be bigger and we had to drive home in a bad thunderstorm afterwards).
