May fun!

I think we're ready for summer!
We think Justin will love the big pool;
hoping Hallie gets a bit braver this year!

My co worker asked me if the kids seem more similar
or different....I think they actually have lots of similiaries!

-Same temperament (joy, joy!)
-Both don't like water on their head!
-They love to play in my car (or any car!)
-They both love chocolate (especially emmies!  m&ms)
-They are snuggle bugs!
-They love to play outside! We seem to spend
most of our time in the driveway!

Justin has been talking so much!  Some mornings, he tells
me "Daddy, work?" meaning he's asking if Daddy is
at home today!

I'm alittle scared he's going to be a daredevil!

One of the favorite things is going to Grandad's office
in the afternoon and getting tarts from his candy stands!

At least I got a nap on Mother's day!

We've got some good neighbors!
Here's some of them- Malachi and Micah!

Hallie planting some plants!

Justin doing some weeding too!

Justin destroyed a cup cake!

We were so happy that the Starnes crew came
over Memorial Day!

We went to the Airport museum!

This war plane that was decommissioned flew
over our house on the 14th (scared us to death it
was so loud at first!)

We went to Winkler Park!

They love bubbles!
Justin really does. Jason says he's like the
fish in the Nemo movie who loved bubbles!

We got a slip-n-slide, which they loved! Even Jason!

The aftermath of blue popsicles!

Easter and Justin/Mr Hoppy turn 2!

Hallie got her first haircut at Great Clips in mid March!

She did a great job being still and listening!

Justin loves Hallie's luggage backpack!

This was Friday night for us a few weeks ago....
every parents dream!

Hallie loves to ride her bike!

They also love the dune buggy!  Justin will call
Hallie's name out when he wants to ride it!

Here's some pics from St Lukes Easter Egg hunt.

No pics of Justin, as he wasn't interested in the eggs!

They are supposed to be in the opposite seats...oh well!

Arlo and Nolan came to visit for Easter and
we had a hunt at Deda's house!

Mom, Dad, Jason, and the kids went to Blowing Rock
on Easter Monday and he captured this sweet moment
when they fell asleep with her holding his hand!

Justin's little curl!

Before we get to Justin's birthday party, here's a little homage to

Justin's lovely aka "Mr. Hoppy", "Mr. Hopps" or "HopHop."

I'm not sure if Mr. Hoppy is really 2 as well, but I believe he came
with a blanket set that we got when Justin was born.

I noticed Justin seemed to want to suck his thumb when he was a few
weeks old, and eventually started to want to hold/rub something
when he did.

So, when he was about 7-8 months old or so, I started giving him
Mr. Hoppy to hold when he wanted to fall asleep.

Now, we can't live without Mr. Hoppy!  He goes everywhere with us and
definitely comforts Justin when he's tired or upset.

He says on him "Cute and Hoppy", hence the name!

Justin saw the Elmo water shoes we bought for Hallie
when she was about his age and wanted to wear them today!

Thomas cake made by Linda!

Lovin' the balloons!

New chair!

Hallie "assisting" Justin opening his presents!

Video of Happy Birthday! He still wasn't sure
what to think about the singing!

Justin wasn't as messy this year with his cake;
he wouldn't start eating it until he had a spoon!

He loves his new bike!

March!

Justin has been saying so many words lately!  He says car, cracker, Daddy, Hallie, Mama, Whoa.

He loves doors, opening and closing them and also the storage door at Jason's building.

He also loves to play in the car, just like Hallie did/does!

He also is learning how to run! He loves being chased, just like Hallie!

He apparently wants to be in a strong man
competition because he likes pushing the car!

We got a kick a few weeks ago when he was running back and forth
from me to Grandpa and kept wanting Grandpa to pull his pants up for him!

The video is too large to post here, but Jason has on his phone!

I took Hallie to see the "Cat in the Hat" play for a mother/daughter date.  It became quite a challenge as the Cat was dressed in a mascot type outfit and Hallie still has her fear of mascots!

But she made it through the whole play, which was really cute & funny!

Sweet sibling moment!

He has skinny legs, just like Hallie!

The weather is getting warmer...we're lovin' the playground!

Nerdy Hallie!

Easter Eggs!

Here are some pictures from daycare!

Already knows how to fill the car with gas!
Scary!
