Carowinds, Linville, Biltmore

We went to Carowinds on May 24th with Mike/Becca and her niece Clara and her nephew Nick and his wife and two kids. Justin rode more things that he ever has and Hallie got Becca to ride the Kiddy Hawk

Memorial Day ended up being a terribly rainy day, but we enjoyed the time at Linda/Gary's

May 27th and 28th, mom took the kids up to Linville since Nolan and Ellie were there.

They swam in the heated pool even though it was in the 70's outside.

I took off the week of June 2nd.

Hallie went to the Great Wolf Lodge with Miranda and Justin had his friend Korbyn over to play on Monday afternoon.

Tuesday, we went down to Charlotte for an Ortho surgeon appointment for Hallie, and then to Carowinds! Miranda came with us- she and Hallie had a blast on the Goldrush, Kiddy Hawk, and Snoopy Coaster.

Unfortunately, Justin's favorite ride Gyroforce was not working and then the Pirate ships went down as well.  But we plan to go back since we have a pass!  

Wednesday, I took the girls to Karen's pool for the afternoon and then Linda took them to her house so they could play with Sydney.

Friday, we went to the Biltmore House with Karen and Miranda.

We had a Subway sandwiches picnic at the Farm area.

The kids loved the free samples of Wassail and Raspberry drink. 

We toured the house, then went to the King Tut exhibit they have now. They had replicas of the burial coffins and other treasures.

It was very hot so we didn't get a pic with the house.

School awards days!

Hallie's awards on May 22nd.

She got the Math 1 award from Mrs. Flowers and was number 10 in her class overall!

She got multiple math recognitions as well.   

Justin's awards on May 23rd. He got the A/B Honor roll for the year.

We're sad that his sweet friend Rogelio is moving though.
