Linville Land Harbor fun

We had our annual cousins vacay at Linville Land Harbor June 16th through 19th.

We went for a hike at Beacon Heights trail!

Carowinds

The Ross family recently moved but treated us to Carowinds on June 5th for Bennett's late birthday.

Kim took this picture and unfortunately I got veritgo/dizzy once it started. It may have been because I was going backwards but I had to close my eyes the whole time but at least I didn't feel nauseous or throw up!

Final baseball games!

First game at 6pm on Tuesday May 31 against the Braves. They beat us once and we did the same. It was very hot and both coach pitchers had trouble and we were on a different field.

Justin struck out twice and hit twice and made plays at first. We won 2-4.

Championship game against the Red Sox.

Justin has been the first hitter for the team the last few games!

First hit of the game! He got 3 hits in all.

We scored 5 runs again in the 1st and 2nd inning!

 

So we lead 12-11 in the bottom of the 5th.

We got the first 2 outs with plays to first base.

Then they got a hit. Next player hit grounder to our pitcher who didn't throw the best to Justin so he missed the ball.

Their players are now at 3rd and 2nd. They get a good hit to bring those two in to win the game.

Overall for us to lose by one run was a great success! The Red Sox won every game by at least 5 runs or more.

We are the only team to beat them in the last two years, which happened last week!!!  And we didn't even win a game last year!
