Hallie's graduates 5th grade!

They had a 5th grade reception today at the school!

I asked them if they wanted to do a silly face!

Her homeroom teacher Ms. Norton, who taught kindergarten years ago but wasn't Hallie's teacher. But she's gotten to see these kids grow up!  She was the science/social studies teacher.  Ms. Gibson was the math teacher, and Ms. Irvin the reading teacher.

They did the awards ceremony on Zoom on May 26th.

A baseball victory!

On May 25th, we played the undefeated Red Sox team for the second time.

We won 15 to 11! 

Game had good hits and errors on both sides.

Justin had 3 hits!

We scored 5 runs on them in the 1st and 2nd innings which has probably never happened to them.

In the bottom of the 5th, their hitter hit down the first-base side, Justin got it, and tagged the base for out 1. The next two hits went to our pitcher who threw great  to Justin and got the final two outs! It was awesome! I screamed more than I should have!

We were so nervous that we didn't take any pics or videos during the game but got pics afterwards!

Thanks to our coaches, this team improved in their skills while learning more about teamwork, encouragement, and shaking off mistakes! And had victory over the undefeated team last night!

Mothers day weekend and more baseball!

We spent Mother's Day weekend at Linda and Gary's to help take care of Charlotte and Sydney since Lee and Dr had to do flowers.

 The kids were a great help taking care of the little ones!
