about Hallie being out of school!

Fall Fun and Frustration!

 

It has been absolutely crazy the last few months!

 

Work has been wild for me and we had the unfortunate

event of dealing with Shigella, a bacterial stomach bug that the kids

had a very slight version of, but Hallie was out of school

for 4 weeks!  Justin missed 2 weeks of daycare.

 

We tried really hard to be positive, and enjoy time

with the kids, but it was hard some days! I had

to work a home a few times, but the kids can

entertain themselves now!  Plus, we watched

"Zootopia" on Netflix like 50 times!

Apparently, Micah has a crush on Hallie!

His parents say he is always saying Hallie's name

and wanting to go see her!  :)

 

But lots of times when he's around her, he acts shy!

We went to Oktoberfest for Nana's birthday.

 

Hallie would only do the spinning Berry Go Round ride

He is really doing well at the daycare!

He loves his teachers and isn't crying much

anymore when I drop him off!

 

He is saying so many sentences, his favorite

being "I do it!"

 

Lately, he loves brushing his teeth!

Despite missing a month of school (but we did homework/class

work at home during that time), Hallie is doing well

in school!  She does her homework well most of the time, but

is a bit on and off about sight words.  We already feel

overwhelmed with learning and she's only in kindergarten!

Sort of the love/hate with school!

 

She's made new friends and I've eaten lunch

with her a few times and she loves to wave at other kids

she knows in other classes! She is so friendly!
