Fun in July!

We took Hallie bowling to Pin Station on Friday, 17th and she beat me by 4 points!

Jason won her a Frog from the claw game!

Bowling pics below are from Uncle Mike's birthday bowling in Mooresville! She did well!

 

She is now 37lbs and 44.75 inches

(36th percentile for weight and about 90%ish percentile for height)

 

She's been saying "I love you" a lot, starting to love back rides, and gives "running hugs" meaning she runs to us and we pick her up to hug her!

 

 

Justin loves the shades!  He is now 29.75 inches and 18.7lbs!

(3rd percentile for weight and 14th percentile for height)

Recap of June and 4th of July weekend!

Daycare was closed 2 weeks in June, so between us and grandparents, we had it covered and hopefully everyone had good times with the kids!

Here's some photos Karen took when they took care of them! 

We've taken Hallie twice to Home Depots craft on the first Saturday of the month! She loves it! She made a car in June and in July, made a scooter!

 

She's pushing Jason's hand away because she wanted to do herself!

One week was our church's VBS, so I was the leader for Hallie's group. That had it's ups and downs, but Hallie still sings some of the songs we learned!  (though she never lets me stand up and sing in church....always have to sit down.)

We had a service Sunday where we went out into the community.  Our Sunday School went to the Pregnancy Care Center and I was happy that Hallie decided to come with us! We hanged baby clothes!

Justin is crawling up a storm! He's standing better on his feet, so I know one day, the walking/running will begin!  He loves to open/close things and bang things together!

We've enjoyed being outside, though some days, it was way too hot!  Hallie has started kicking a ball in our yard, so maybe she'll be a soccer player?? I could be a soccer mom!

I'm glad at work that we're having "summer hours" so we come into work at 8:00 each day, then on Friday, don't have a lunch hour and get off at 1:00.   It's been nice to have some extra time with the family and I'm planning on taking off some Fridays as well.  Figured I need to take advantage of it with the busy time with work a-coming!

We had a nice long 4th of July weekend, going to Hickory-Dickory-Dock.  Justin loved climbing on the soft play mats and Hallie even played a few games!  We tried to teach her the Skeet Ball, and she got some points a few times! 

We went to Dean/Karen's pool on the 4th, but Hallie didn't get in, but Justin seemed to enjoy it and watching others swim! He was very interested in observing swimming!
